We have been lifelong Collie owners and have had several vets before finding Killingworth Animal Hospital. Love this place and the people. Never judge you or speak a negative word to you and know how to care for our pets. We are very grateful to have been referred by a friend who takes their Collie here as well.

A good experience. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Our little dog was seen on time. They listened to our dogs issue, examined him and had a solution. Our little guy is on the mend and doing better.

I was in killingworth visiting and my 5 month old lab ran across a yellow jacket nest. He was stung numerous times, so I ran him down to the hospital. Having never been there before I didn’t know what to expect. The staff and the Dr. were very helpful, and informative. They took great care of my pup and I’m grateful to them all.

I’ve been bringing my boys (Chowder & Kona) here since I moved back in 2014. Sadly, this past year I lost both of them but I’ll always appreciate the dedication and caring nature everyone demonstrated anytime I would come in. They were always great about fitting me in when I wasn’t sure what was going on and I always respected and trusted Dr. Meads opinion. He always treated my boys as if they were his own and that level of comfort isn’t something I could put a dollar amount to.
We still bring our cat, Muffy, to KAH and I always suggest them to family and friends.

Despite this being our first interaction with Dr Mead, he is incredible. Yesterday we brought in our two year old cat who was hit by a car and had severely broken his leg. Not only was Dr Mead the reason we didn’t have to put him down, but he also saved his leg when we didn’t think we could. Genuinely grateful for the team here at Killingworth Animal Hospital.
